ode to a friend

Monday, May 26th, 2008

As I’ve mentioned before, the handful of friends we’ve made since moving here is dwindling at an alarming rate.  July and August will be tough months as that’s when most of the families are leaving.
However, I want to clarify something.  Not all my friends are leaving.  Beth, my best buddy over here, is staying put.  […]

We went on an impromptu outing this past week to see the endangered pink dolphins.  Yes.  Pink Dolphins.  Take a moment now and  please refer to the title of my post.

anyone here speak Chinese?

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

Allen, a Chinese co-worker of hubby’s has always wanted to come to HKG. He’s lived in China all his life, and while he has traveled to the USA, he’s never been to HKG. For business related reasons, it worked out that he could come this weekend. He has been so excited and […]

some answers to your questions

Friday, April 25th, 2008

Time for a light hearted post, so I pulled out some questions that you all asked a while back and decided to answer them. Feel free to ask more!
Are Bento boxes easy to find? Yes, they are, but it’s more of a Japanese thing. You can find some neat sets in […]
