ok, this isn’t funny anymore
The total number of families leaving HKG before the summer is over is climbing. We are up to 7 families now, and that includes the pastor of our new church home.
Make.
it.
stop.

I think I linked back to the correct blog here…
Wow, what a random but amazing connection! I’ll tell my mom that you discovered me when she wakes up tomorrow. I’m sure it will bring a smile to her face to hear of another family off in China.
Reading your entries here came awful close to bringing tears to my eyes. How I miss China…the culture, the language, the people, the food…everything. If that’s not a sign that I’m meant to be somewhere, I’m not sure what is.
If you saw the previous comments on my Xanga then you know about the plan to move to Fuzhou and eventual cancellation…pretty much a bummer, that.
Anyway. I tend to get excited and say many words to people in any way related to China. Hope that’s alright with you.

And in response to your entry:
I’m so sorry…what are the odds? Stay strong and power through it. You’ll be in my prayers. A sense of community when overseas is really important, and I’m sorry yours is being shaken up.

So sorry, Deanne. It’s a lot like being in the military — families moving around all the time. BTDT when I was growing up. ((hugs))
