jet lag stinks

Actually, if I weren’t a lady, I would use a different adjective in that title, but you get the general idea. I have been up all night, wide awake, staring at the ceiling. I am not a happy camper. Frown  So, here I sit, getting some computer time in before the kiddos wake up, and enjoying the fact that I don’t have to wait in line to use the computer…tee hee.  Feel free to post any questions you have in the comments section.  My brain is rather foggy, so your help would be appreciated.  Wink
All my pictures are on hubby’s laptop and he’s in China so still no pictures. I promise to get them posted once he gets home. I need to post them so I can get some decorating advice with the bathrooms in our flat (not an apartment, a flat…former British colony, you know). They are in excellent shape, but have very dated colors. Not quite ugly, but certainly not what anyone I know would pick. Laughing It will be challenging to make them look attractive.

Speaking of British influences, here are some more little things you notice while in Hong Kong…

* they aren’t elevators, they are lifts

* the automated voice on public transport that announces what station you are approaching is a british woman, with a lovely accent. She announces, “Please alight to the left and mind the platform gap”.

* Many words are spelled using “proper english”…colour, flavour, etc

Our trip was so successful and the credit and thanks all goes to a God who cares about the details, both big and small. We accomplished SO MUCH in a short time and it was only because God was flinging the doors open at every turn. I am in awe of all He has done and I praise Him for it.

Welcome back! I’m so glad everything went well, and join in the praise now that you’re home! I’ve been praying for you. Bob’s on usher duty Sunday, so if breakfast during Sunday School works this week, let me know. Can’t wait to hear all the stories! Love you!

God FLINGING doors open….I LIKE that! Now we can pray he will SLAM your eyes shut tonight! lol! I remember that so well. What was worse was when WE finally went to sleep, the boys, then 4 and 5, woke at 2 a.m. and wanted to play. yuck….

Hang in there and try not to sleep more than you have to during the day.
