I read. Sporadically. But I read. :)

I read up too and see that the proposal is done. Wow. Is it worth it?? Wow. I hope you love it there.

Hey, girl! I'm sure there are way more than 3 that read and are praying for you all right now. I can't imagine what you're going through. I know how pitiful my Janie is when Daddy works late, much less if he was to go away for weeks, and gee, I've been whining about my messy house and how I need to clean things out. Your situation puts things in perspective (smile). Maybe I need Keith to move us somewhere and I'd have to sort through and organize (after the nervous breakdown)! You'll look back on these next 6 or so months and see how God brought you through. Hang on!

Love ya!

I don't know if I've replied to any of your posts before, but I read them all the time. Even though it's terribly lonely for all of you, the culture you are being exposed to will be great in the long run. I was one of those kids whose family moved every year (not military, just a bored father), and I hated it when I was growing up (because I was terribly shy). But when I became an adult, I found that my youth really helped me with my life. I opened a hair salon and you HAVE to talk to people. I found that I had a point of connection with everybody. I always started my conversations with, "Are you from around here?" And it flowed from there.
So take comfort from the fact that, even though it's hard now, there will be benefits down the road. I guess it's just up to you as to how the children will feel about this in the here and now. Thank God you homeschool, you can be the center of their lives.... What a great opportunity!

Ok... I had TEARS when I read about little L talking to the computer. AWWWW. I guess it is neat they are able to have that connection while J is away but still makes your heart hurt. Hang in there... two more days, two more days, two more days. If you stay in your jammies all day on Mon, it will really only feel like ONE more day. teehee
