not much happening
After a flurry of posts I’m back to posting more erratically. Life is now normal in the blogging world. I haven’t been talking to J as often and they are doing boring stuff. Ya know, things like business meetings, drawing up proposals, hiring, traveling…..all the necessary stuff, but it’s not very glamorous.
As far as here at home, things are quiet and that is a GOOD thing!! Nothing has fallen, broken, or caught on fire and I’m praying this trend continues (and I’m praying HARD)!
I had a wonderful visit last night with my cousin’s wife. I’m not sure what that makes her as far as an “official title”, but she’s part of the family and I love her to pieces! We chatted about all sorts of things and I relished talking to a grown up. 
She’s a first time mom and I loved being able to reassure her that the baby will sleep through the night eventually and that it won’t always be so much work and not much fun. It gets better…..I can be the voice of authority on that one since I’ve done it four times! 
She does know all that, but it’s easy to forget that in the day to day routine. Of course, she brought her little one (5 weeks old) with her and I got to hold her and get a little cuddle time in…ahhhh, sweet bliss!!! 
She’s doing a great job as a mama and the baby is just thriving. Way to go, K!!
