sad news
A very close friend just discovered that the little life growing in her womb has gone to be with Jesus. She is at the hospital as I type and I am just overwhelmed with grief. I have no words for her and feel so utterly helpless. I believe in the power of prayer and I have been storming the gates of heaven on her behalf, but why doesn’t that feel like enough? 
I had to tell the children the news this morning. That was so hard! We have been praying for Mrs. D and her baby every day during school, and they were very upset. I had to answer questions that have no answers and try to comfort two little ones who just can’t grasp it all.
God is still good, but life is still hard.
