Robertson Tribe Updates

I was right. It has been a hard week. Just when I thought I was getting a handle on things, I was blindsided! My follow up appt with my dr shows that I still have large kidney stones. I wasn’t prepared to hear that since I already had a procedure to take care of them! Now I have decisions to make about that. Then, my oldest child came down with an unexplained fever (my kiddos are never sick) and she must stay separate from the other children, but specifically the little guy, who is only one week post surgery. It’s imperative he not get a fever, so I’m a little frazzled making all that work.

On a more positive note, we went to the cardiologist yesterday and they were very, very pleased at D’s healing. The heart looks great and there is no fluid around the heart. To view his heart on the screen and see a wall where they used to be a huge hole brought tears of gratitude to my eyes. My little boy is healed. Thank you Lord!!!!

The girls have been begging for school, so we picked up where we left off (we started in the beginning of August) and have been easing our way back in to the routine. It’s been a great diversion for all of us and it’s going well. I’m still struggling to find a good fit for the 3.5 year old though. The curriculum I have to for him is way too easy, so I’m back to the drawing board. Does anyone out there in cyberland have a good curriculum suggestion for a 3year old reader? Help!
