Robertson Tribe Updates

So many people have asked me recently where things stand with our international move that I thought I’d leave a quick update here.

The quick update is that we don’t know! Things are still moving in that direction, but so many details need to be worked out from a business standpoint, that it could be a while yet. This is a brand new venture for dh’s company, so there are many, many things that need to be taken care of, not the least of which is our expatriate (expat) package! When the final decision is made, it does look like we’ll be in Shanghai, China, probably the Pudong district.

So that’s my update.

Meanwhile, I am frantically trying to finish school with the girls so we can all have a break. My illness(es) over the last six month have set back our end date for school, and we are ALL so ready to be done! Everyone is really motivated though, so it shouldn’t be too much longer. Then I start planning for next year, lolol!

Along with the planning goes all those hard decisions….homeschool co-op? ballet lessons? Awana at church? Which field trips? Any sports? Ladies Bible Study for me? …so many good things but I need to choose the BEST things. For now, I’m living in denial and just ignoring it all. I like my “happy place”, so don’t burst my bubble.
