my birthday lunch
Ok, time for a light hearted post. This blog is getting to be a drag. 
Tuesday was my birthday and my two oldest girls (7 and 6) were trying very hard to make it a special day for me. They were whispering back and forth all day about things and giggling like, well, like girls.
I was in the kitchen, trying to decide what to fix for lunch when they came out and said, “Mommy, we want to make you lunch today. We’ll do it all. You just sit down.” I obediently sat down and waited. R turned to me and said, “Is toast ok? That’s all I know how to make?”
So, I had toast for my birthday lunch and enjoyed every little crumb. It was the best toast I have ever eaten.
